My name is Pablo Rodríguez, and I would like to become part of Spain@MIT committee as “Science and Industry Series Chair”. I think I can contribute to promote Spanish science, research and entrepreneurship by organizing seminars with high-level speakers. I would also like to improve outreaching efforts for Spain@MIT seminars.
I am a fourth year graduate student at the Nuclear Science and Engineering Department at MIT. Prior to coming to MIT, I got my BS and MS in engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), majoring in energy systems and nuclear technology. I also received a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, in Philadelphia. Currently I work as a research assistant for the Plasma Science and Fusion Center. I am originally from Madrid.
