Welcome!  ¡Bienvenidos!

Spain@MIT is a student group recognized by the ASA (Association of Students Activities) at MIT. Founded in 2010, it now consists of nearly 100 members, mostly MIT graduate students but also postdocs, undergraduate students as well as alumni.

We organize regular social and cultural events bringing parts of Spain’s culture and traditions to campus (Spanish Cinema Nights, Tapas Nights, Feria de Abril (flamenco workshop), Soccer Match viewing…). We also participate in the MIT Intramurals for soccer, tennis, volleyball, etc.

In addition to these activities, we also host industry-oriented presentations where Spanish firms and entrepreneurs talk about their business experience and professional opportunities for MIT grads. Likewise, we organize academic talks with Spanish university professors on scientific areas ranging from Physics to Economics.

Membership in Spain@MIT is open to all the MIT community. If you wish to receive information about our events please sign up at: http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/spaniardslist
