Welcome!  ¡Bienvenidos!

Spain@MIT is a student group recognized by the ASA (Association of Students Activities) at MIT. Founded in 2010, it now consists of nearly 100 members, mostly MIT graduate students but also postdocs, undergraduate students and alumni.

We organize regular social and cultural events bringing parts of Spain’s culture and traditions to campus (Spanish Cinema Evenings, Tapas Nights, Feria de Abril with a flamenco workshop, Soccer Match viewing…). We also participate in the MIT Intramurals for soccer, waterpolo, volleyball, etc.

In addition to these activities, we also host industry-oriented presentations where Spanish firms and entrepreneurs talk about their business experience and professional opportunities for MIT grads. Likewise, we organize academic talks with Spanish university professors on scientific areas ranging from Physics to Economics.

Membership to Spain@MIT is open to all the MIT community. If you wish to receive information about our events sign up at: http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/spaniardslist

If you are a prospective Spanish MIT student check out our document with information for newcomers. If you would like to contact Spanish students at MIT, you may send an e-mail with your question to spaniards-request@mit.edu.
