Last July 12 and 13, 2014, more than 100 international students at MIT joined to participate in the 2014 MIT World Cup, in which students played in representation of their countries: Colombia, Chile, Greece, Italy, Japan, and Spain.
The 2014 MIT World Cup champion was the Greek team, followed by the Spanish and the Italian teams.

After the games, the students met for a BBQ at the Hultsizer room to view the Argentina-Germany final of the World Cup.
