The Immigration Workshop consisted of a series of lectures covering a variety of different topics including “Green Card strategies for Start-up Founders, “E-2 investor visas and the importance of business plans,” “The H1-B visa,” and “Fwd.us and immigration reform.”  The talks were followed by a networking reception, during which students could ask attending lawyers and paralegals questions pertaining to their individual visa situation.  Light snacks were served during the reception.  The workshop was extremely popular, and feedback from both students and lawyers has been very positive.  This workshop was co-hosted with a number of different campus cultural organizations, including MITALY, Hellenic Students’ Association and Club Francophone.
