My name is Alex Armengol and next year I would like to serve the Spain@MIT Committee as the Social Chair. In this position I would like to help to strengthen relationships within the Spanish community at MIT and with other student associations through our traditional and new social events.
I am currently a PhD student in the Field Intelligence Lab in the Mechanical Engineering Department. My research goal is to create
seamless interfaces between people, objects and spaces by combining the fields of biosignal sensing and the Internet of Things.
In 2018 I received my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at MIT and before coming to US I got my B.S. in Industrial Engineering and T elecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia
