I am María Esteban, and together with Juan José Garau, I am part of Spain@MIT committee as Co-Chair of Culture, Industry, and Science. I would like to promote a sense of culture within our association by organizing a series of talks and seminars with high-level speakers from various institutions, associations, and backgrounds. I would also like to host collaborative events and industry-oriented presentations where Spanish firms and entrepreneurs can share their business experience, which in turn might generate future professional opportunities. I am currently a first year Master of Science in Architecture Studies student at MIT researching at the intersection of digital fabrication technologies, computation, design, art and architecture. I received my Master’s degree in Architecture from University College London (The Bartlett, UCL) and my Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The University of Edinburgh. |
